Hi Guys
Im an Australian who is currently living and working overseas (Canada),
I have saved about $100,000, Im looking for ways to create passive income
Im exploring all possibilities, Ive been looking into NZ propety and Australian.
I could pay off my first NZ property very quickly?any advice on the position im in would be great?
Thanks
Im not privy to the NZ market but how much growth is it in for? Its not about whether you can pay a place off quickly or not, its how much capital and rental growth you will relieve over time.
Areas in Australia are in for some excellent short term growth over the next 3 – 4 years on the back of a potential 3.6billion worth of private investment. The rest of Australia should follow after this time.
PPI
Listening to my friends, I hear the NZ is deader then dead. It may be a good time to enter, or even wait just a few more months for values to drop and pick up desperate sellers.

Hi Buick,
Your strategy will depend on heaps of different factors which include:
– Your time line
– Your level of involvement
– What you WANT to do.
– CF or CG
– Level of risk tolerance
– Flexibility
– Tax implications
– Fin implications
– ETC ETC ETC…I can only talk in general terms because this may all change due to aforementioned factors. Many of our clients on a high income are land banking medium density development sites in high capital growth areas. The plan is to redevelop and hold these sites as they come to the end of their working career or earlier if they need better servicing due to finance.
