starting Property port folio in New Zealand?

Hi everyone

I would really like a few ideas on how to create and expand a property portfolio in New Zealand

Iam Australian, I have about $100,000 in the bank and Im 28 yrs old, My goal is to own
5 propertys in the next few years? I want to create passive income with the potentiol of growth

with the money I have should I start small? try and buy a property for around $130,000NZ
than move on to the next?

By having full ownership of one property can someone please explain to me the financial benefits? as in using capital?

what other things should I know?
