All Topics / General Property / Australia’s CHEAPEST 3 bedroom homes!
Hello all,
Once again I’ve compiled a list of of the cheapest houses in Australia, quite a few surprises in the list this year.
Hey Andy,
Just have to say that your blog caught me off guard, wasn't expecting such a funny read! Favourite quote- "Nothing says quality like a piece of miss-matched, ripped, green shade cloth hanging off your balcony, and you just know that the owner of this wonderfully crappy looking house has been watching Better Home and Gardens for styling cues." Hilarious!
Will have to read the rest tomorrow as it seems like it'll be an informative read, especially with your active investing experience behind it. Out of interest, did you end up buying a business after being inspired by the Rich Dad book?
Regards,Derek
Hey Derek,
Still working on the business plan, I’ll probably start from scratch and learn along the way. I find I’m procrastinating a hell of a lot, so it’s time for action!
Thanks for your comments.
Thanks for sharing Andy, it’s a great read. Do you mind if I share it on our our Facebook page?
Cheers

Hi Andy,
Great Blog, good to see what/how other medium investor is doing. Had a look at the 'Karls Mortgage calculator' , could be good, but wasnt sure how to analysis if property was interest only repayments. Also have you sold property for less than what was owed on the mortgage. I have a property in Cairns Ive been trying to sell for months. The market is truely dead up there, no jobs and major oversupply. Agent says I will have to sell for $20k less than the mortgage I have on it. Im not sure if I could offset that against other IP's. Very frustrating, since like you said, you can see bargains out there.Cheers
AnitaI’ve never sold under mortgage, but have been close; and when considering all costs, I have come out in the red. Tough times unfortunately call for tough measures.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for sharing your blog. It is very interesting and a lots of useful information.
All the best,
Elea
