    Hi there, just wanted some advice on FHOG (Vic). I am 5 months into my 6 months of eligibility after purchasing a home with a FHOG. I am now in the position of wanting to move for work – and would like to rent something. Would it be ok if I rented a property at the same time – trying to get my last month under my belt. Would the SRO be ok with this – or would I be putting myself at risk of voiding this arrangement ???

    Welcome to the forum

    Can’t you just hang tight for one more month?

    You’re best bet is to contact the SRO – but I’m sure you already know what they’ll say.
