Westpac will waive a $395 package fee on its “premier advantage” home loan – the most popular among new customers. Banking Day also reports that Westpac is waiving the $600 establishment fee.

    Yes… how about ANZ/CBA/NAB?

I believe this is a response to NAB's offer of paying exit fees for Westpac and Commonwealth customers to make the switch.
Hopefully such offers continue to come out so we dont have to pay these fees

NAB and westpac —-will be paying for any exit fee with you refinacne over to them – up to $600-$700

At this point in time, a LOT of banks  NOT just the big 4's are  offering no establishment  fee! its crazy- but in a good way…competition is  alwasy a good thing for the consumers.

A 0.2% lower rate on an average investors total loan balance is much more than $400. Smoke and mirrors. Competition is heating up though which is great.
