For those of you unaware, the QLD flood situation escalated in a big way overnight, and included an 8m insland "tsunami" in Toowoomba.

I'll say on behalf of everyone on the forum that our thoughts are with everyone affected by the floods in QLD.
Plenty of information, photos and footage can be found on google or any tv channel.
According to my googlemaps, Toowoomba is the nearest significant township to the town of Surat. Rockhampton seems to be the nearest big township to Gladstone, the main hub of the Surat Basin project, which is also affected by the flooding.
