We buy our properties pre forclosure and so the mortgages are still in the properties. So what you are looking at is $20,000 to $30,000 down to control a property worth $120,000 to $130,000. We do not need to deal in section 8 tenants because we on sell to future buyers. Section 8 people can be people who cannot get housing any other way. It has been our experience that there are better ways to invest and get quality tenants. If you want more information write to me and only to happy to provide examples.

Hi all investors looking at Texas. We are heading back to San Antonio on 30 Jan to 25 Feb. If anyone interested in meeting with us in town for some assistance in getting into the market please let me know. We are heading back to buy some more properties and check on the progress of some of the renovations we have coming to an end. Happy to assist anyone who is motivated to get into the market and learn.

    Hi Husky,

It is the same person. Neil Jenman has something against Nigels former employer as he does against pretty much anyone involved in the real estate industry. You should probably do a google search on Neil and see what people have to say about him. I have known Nigel for some time, and have a number of clients who have used his service. I have never had anyone complain or express views in line with that article.

    Regards
    Alistair

Market conditions have certainly changed since 2010 today I think there are better opportunities to buy small apartment complexes and although I still love Texas I think that there are also great deals to be done in places like Orlando
