    Hi all,

    We are looking to buy property in the US next year and I have made some preliminary enquiries about insurance.
    The companies that I have spoken to have said that they will only underwrite a policy against our primary residence which would have to be in the US (NOT against the actual investment properties that we buy) and therefore cannot offer us any policies because we live outside the USA.

    Obviously overseas investors are managing to get insurance, so can anyone offer the names of some companies who can help us?

    Speak to Jan Chisholm at [email protected]She does all my properties and she is really good. I give her the basic details and she does everything and even tells me where to sign. Foremost Insurance Company Grand Rapids MI. They have done all my NY,Georgia, Ohio and Texas properties.
