I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate price for a Re-Roof per sq meter. We currently have a tiled roof and have been quoted $4200 to replace tiles, re-point, seal and re-coat. However I am interested to know how much a new roof is per Sq meter. We would be looking at getting a tin roof. I have heard it is about $35 a Sq Meter installed.
Has anyone recently had this done. I am in Brisbane.

repointing & replacing cracked tiles are the only bitS which are worthwhile, the rest is shortterm & cosmetic. Jet blasting, removal of lichen, sealing & colour coatings are unnecessary.
Sorry should have added we are prepping the house for sale ! But I would like to know the cost of a new roof.
in this case, the quick fix is probably the best solution.
The budget price sounds ok but you’ll probably add for insulation, new battens, gutters & downpipes.
