    I am planning on purchasing a unit to renovate – idealy I would like to move in it and renovate over time. I'm wondering what the pros and cons are to renovate as owner occupied and as an investor that is not at my PPOR.
    Some giudance would be appreciated. Thanks

    tax. main residences are generally CGT exempt.
