Im curious, Can i turn a 16.56m width by 45m depth into a dual occupancy.

Masterton homes have designs suitable for these measurements

But im confused by the wording on the local councils requirements for the width of dual occupancy.

It read 10M. But is this for each house or total land size ?
Can someone who has done this before or knows the answer clue me in.

    thankyou very much in advance.

It depends upon your council – speak with the town planner on the desk, bring in your plan and get their opinion. Things like minimum setbacks from the side boundaries might apply thus needing a wider block or they may only allow duplexes on every 3rd block etc.
