Yash, I can tell you who NOT to use unless you want high rates and fees, want to repeatedly lodge papper work and want to wait months and waste time, the money depot.

Thanks for your reply. I will be looking for a variable loan and want to know each and every fees involved. Some brokers hide these fees which affects your life later.
Also, i want this broker to be a financial councilor who can advice me as to 'how much should i fork out for the loan? what should be the limit? what would be the ideal investment amount for us?'
I want to buy a house, should be able to pay every month and also live my life!
Cheers,
YashHi Yash
Wow thats not much.
I would be embarrased and certainly not doing my job correctly if i did not disclose all of the fees (upfront and any potential ongoing fees) and charges to a client upfront as the is imperative for any client when they are deciding whether the loan is suitable given their requirements.
Let me know if you want a comparative quote and some number crunching done.

Yash , The name of the broker to not use is called, The Money Depot. A good broker can be hard to find, if you think one is not giving you an excellent deal dont be afraid to try another. The difference to the bottom line can be huge. Good luck.
We used Mike Lloyd from Fusion Finance recently. Found him through this forum actually while shopped around for a Mortgage Broker. He is the kind of person who will go extra miles, saving you lots of headaches. We can’t imagine if we have to deal with the bank directly. Highly recommended. http://www.fusionfinance.com.au
