In recent months we have presented an idea to some our builders that aims at increasing the value of the projects for very little extra expense.

    And they love it.

So now we’ll share this simple idea with you.

When putting in 60cm appliances, consider replacing the 60cm cooktop, and only the cooktop with a 70cm one.

    Why?

-You now have a 5 Burner cooktop, and can market this fact. This is the big reason for doing so. A 70cm cooktop usually gives the same amout of pot width space as a 90cm as the knobs on a 70cm are at the front of the appliances, where a 90cm are on the side and therefore taking up space.
    – They usually fit the same cut out hole as a 60cm appliance. (Probably more important for builders so they don’t have to change kitchen specs at all)
-They cost very little extra when compared to the extra cost of a 70cm oven compared with a 60cm one

End result, your potential buyer / valuer / tenant gets all ga ga over a kitchen with a large cooktop and you have an edge over the competition / somthing for them to get all emotional about and offer you more money for your hard work.

Actually it's a good point.  Most definitely will use it!
