Hi sorry if this is a stupid question but is equity able to be released to individual unit holders in a unit trust?
Here is my case study, I’m looking at starting a unit trust so that me and 2 others can pool our funds equally for a deposit. Let’s just say there is a capital gain of 90K (30K each) in the first year. Is it possible for either of us to individually access that 30K equity for individual pursuits?
