All Topics / Legal & Accounting / Can you recommend a property advisor and.or accountant in Melbourne???
Hello everyone.
I have just joined the site and I am asking for some advice.
Our financial position is basically: between my wife and I our combined salary is around 100K. We own our home and have one investment property, a small unit in Melbourne which we owe around $180000 on.
We are very interested in building our property portfolio, but before going to the banks and looking for a property, I wanted to find
a) a financial advisor who has a property background and can help us develop a sound investment plan using the equity we have, andb) an accountant with a property investment background who can help demistify the tax side of things.
We are looking to do our homework to save doing things either wrong or inefficiently.
Can anyone on here recommend a property advisor and/or an accountant that are reasonable, and more importantly why you would recommend them?
Many thanks in advance
Mark

Jim DinasThanks Jim,
I have actually met a client of yours who gave you a very strong recommendation. I am still trying to read widely on the subject of property investment to get some ideas, as I don't necessarily want to be managed through the whole process. What I am looking for is an advisor to help me develop a financial plan, I believe an investment accountant would probably be my preferred option. I will hang on to your contact details and email you soon when I get to that point..
Thanks again for your reply.
