    Hello

My husband and I have renovated our first property. We are looking to rent it out and buy and live in a new house that we will then renovate.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good accountant that could help us with questions regarding wealth maximisation/tax questions etc.

Property investment is a new thing for us and with the money and time we are looking to invest in renovating we want to make sure we are armed with any necessary information!

    Thanks

Probably a quantity surveyor could be useful as well to work out the depreciation schedule !

Why not post a few of your questions on the forum and we can then answer them for you at least this will give you a heads up before you rush in.

Remember if you intend to buy a house for your PPOR the interest wont be Tax deductible so ideally you would want to reduce the non deductible debt and increase the deductible debt.

There are a couple of ways to achieve this but all depends on the numbers as Stamp Duty maybe incurred.
