Lifestyle Planning Group- Strange phone call….

I thought this may be a good place to ask some advice regarding a strange call I received earlier.

A guy from Lifestyle Planning Group rang me at home and has been trying to get in touch with me for a few days, as my mum had taken the calls.

He proceeds to tell me that he is calling because there are some positive/negative developments happening in the Woodridge area (where one of my IP’s is located) in QLD and his company have prepared a report and want to come over to see me to talk about it….and it’s free. He said “they” (whoever that is) don’t want me to sell my property, they just want me to be informed. So they will do a valuation on my property and then bring the report over with information relating to these developments.

I am really suspicious of course. He tried to get me to commit to a meeting time. I told him I would call him back to make an appointment.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? What is really the story? I checked out their website and they seem to be more investment advisors or something…..

Plus…what are these developments in Woodridge/Logan?

If anyone can answer any of these questions I would be most grateful!
