Are you related to this site?
It just seems a bit odd that you would join today and then post this.
Is seems to me to be some seeding for something new.
For what it is worth, what I'd like to know are:
a. Are the original listing prices genuine? If so, are they independently verified, or is it up to the agents to input?
b. How much is paid for listing the property on the site?
c. Why are there so many google ads on the site? Makes it look a bit dodgy.
d. Who are the people behind the site? On the 'about us' site it doesn't mention names. This whole thing seems a little odd.

a. Are the original listing prices genuine? If so, are they independently verified, or is it up to the agents to input?
this data is avaiable to anyone who watches the market and tracks prices – however i do believe it is agent inputedb. How much is paid for listing the property on the site?
free for agents to signup and list properties if you went to the site and click on agent sign up you could see thatc. Why are there so many google ads on the site? Makes it look a bit dodgy.
Sites list google ads as a form of revenue – normally so they can keep their membership fees lower.d. Who are the people behind the site? On the 'about us' site it doesn't mention names.
You need to contact the site directly for this answer their is a contact us page you could have usedAlso i was only posting cause i thought it was interesting and useful for uses of this site would be interested as i have not seen this site before ….
This is the second time on the forums for this same info from a different user. I stand by my previous posts that this is pretty dodge. 1.1mil reduced to 225 in an area where the median is around 200k.

i think its great idea , point being thecrest as a buyer you dont know the original listing price having the price history of a house before you buy i think would be important!
Yes, I would agree with tarnstar, if a vendor started at $1.2M and is now at $1M after 2 weeks on the market, the odds that they would accept an offer starting with an 8 are quite good as they seem desperate to offload the property.
I was hoping that someone had developed a system that takes snapshots of realestate.com.au and domain.com.au and then compares the listing numbers over time. If you had this information in a database it could be really useful.
thanks Mattnz i agree
