All Topics / Help Needed! / What colour to paint a newly rendered house with orange/redish tiled roof ?
Hi there,
I'm getting my house rendered and Im finding it difficult to find what colour to paint a newly rendered house with orange/redish tiled roof ? I can repaint the gutters to suit but I'm not too sure what paint colour would be best to match and look modern as it was a 70s house.
I would love to hear your suggestions or if you know of any houses in your area that have a reddish/orange tiled roof.
Thanks in advance!
Is getting the roof resprayed an option?

Any chance of a snapshot?
My 10c worth: you're probably stuck with painting the main building a beige colour, and then painting the guttering another colour. The Colorbond website has a facility where you can look at a pic of a house with a certain colour roof, and recolour the other parts of the house to see how it would look. The default colour combination they have is beige building, and gunmetal grey gutters. http://www.colorbondcolours.com/go/bsl-colour-centre-swatch/headland . Try the following colour combination:
Roof colour – Headland (a reddish colour)
Gutters & Fascia – Bushland (a dark grey colour)
Downpipes & Garage – Classic Cream
Eaves – Gulf (a dark grey colour)
Wall & Mailbox – Chamois (a creamy colour)Jacqui Middleton | Middleton Buyers Advocates

Another nice combination is:
Wall – lariat or hacienda colour (sort of a tan colour)
Gutters & Fascia – Pale Eucalypt (a light "bush green" colour)
garage – classic creamJacqui Middleton | Middleton Buyers Advocates
