I am 57 and wife 51 both working with a combined income of 85000. We fully own a home worth approximately 430,000. I have read some Margaret Lomas books but they appear to be too long term for us. We live in Melbourne and would like to receive some quality independent investment advice(preferabaly registered with financial planners association). Can anyone assist us with some names. We would require such things as which financial institution to borrow with and where to buy property.

Try Stuart Wemyss.  I have not used him but he is a financial planner interested in property.  He has a couple of books out – the Property Puzzle is his latest
