I thought of trying subdivision as a project for my property and build 2 or 3 units/townhouses. Not sure if the process is a torture and if it is worth the time and costs.
You have not mentioned the details of the matter. As far as I can understand that if you run fast you also have to keep the speed always up. Don’t fear of time and cost always. Sometimes you have to take risk for being successful.
I am also thinking about purchasing a property with an existing small older house, currently rented, with a huge block that would fit at leats two perhaps three townhouses behind the house. I am trying to decide whether to buy and hold and develop/ build the townhouses or to buy and subdivide and sell the large block to someone who has more knowledge and expertise in building. Any suggestions from someone who has been there, done that?

Yea, I've been trying to find out more in this area. First timer in this and hope to get more guidance.Can someone share more on the whole procedure? Who to engage in this whole project?
