    Anyone who can give an insight on what exactly they do, particularly in subvision? How long does it take for them to complete their tasks?

    I think a land surveyor measures land. A quantity surveyor measures fixtures on land.

    A QS is a cost planner, typically involved on measuring and quantifying building elements for developers. A land surveyor undertakes physical measurement of land, subdivision work, boundary identification.
