    hi all,
recently I've been searching for IP's i regional towns and i've found a place that looks like there is a few good buys but i found out that the vacancy rate for that area are around 8%. is that starting to look a bit scary or is that ok for a regional town.
    thank you for any replies

    Hi Ben

Lenders normally factor in 80% of the anticpated or received rent so that allows for 20% vacancy, rates, body corporate etc etc.

I dont think 8% that is just over 4 weeks per year that scary.
