    We are looking to invest in the US but want to ensure we are fully across all the details re tax before taking the plunge. Does anyone have any recommendations? We live in the Sydney metro area.

    Hi Naomi,

    We are also considering buying an investment in the US – there are some nice ones in Florida which is close enough to New York and is a holiday spot for people going to Miami etc.
    Did you have any luck getting hold of a tax accoountant?
    Have you purchased yet?

    Ive just joined this group today after doing some research on the net at properties.  Its a bit sad seeing all of those foreclosed properties though…
