    Hi,

Looking for anyone that has experience with costs involved in subdividing a steep sloping block. We have a block of 993 sqm. The original house is at the bottom of the block. It is zoned R25 in Perth which means we have the potential to retain and build at the front, battleaxe block.

Would like to subdivide and build but not sure whether it is worth it, only given the terrain. We paid $240k for the property which is asking price for land of smaller lot size and less views than ours in the area.

Funny question, how long is a piece of string,

Suggest you employ and engineer and architect who is farmilar with the area … also go to the local council and get an opinion … this is why my husband and I now only develop flat lots … if u own a 1500 m/2 block on a 35 degree angle u will only get 700 m/2 of platform from it so I would rather buy an 800 m/2 in the same street and save a bucket lold of problems.

D good luck, been there done that aaahhhhhhh
