All Topics / Finance / Which of these loans is better?
Hi Everyone,
Can I get some comments from people who have either of these loan products:
ANZ Breakfree professional package
Westpac Rocket repayer professional package
I currently have one investment which I would like to refinance so that I can free up some equity to make further investment property purchases. I’ve spoken with a few mortgage brokers & these are the two products that keep being mentioned. Any comments/experiences positive or negative on these products or institutions would be appreciated.
Thanks
If you are only going to chose between the above two options, then go with what bank you like… both of these products are very similar. Westpac's annual fee is $395 and ANZ is $363 (from memory). each give you a free transaction account and credit card. Both give you a discounted interest rate of 0.7% (depending on the loan amount).
there are many options out there when it comes to loans… some have more features and better service, others have a better interest rate. If it's just an interest rate you're after… have a look at the bankwest rate tracker product. it may suit.
Matt
i have both of these. Rates are pretty similar and (and products too), but you may be able to get an extra discount with westpac, depending on the size. ANZ are getting a bit funny with their requirements these days and I prefer Westpac for their service as well.

I have no problems with either but would throw the NAB Choice package into the ring.
I think it is not the product that is important but more the way in which it is set up and structured.
