Just wondering what bills can be passed on to tenants.
eg…
Rates
Water
Sewerage
Elecricity
Gas
TelephoneNot sure if different states have different rules ??

Thanks.Depends how the lease is set up but tenants usually have to get phone, power & gas in their own names (ie you don't arrange for these to be connected other than having the meters available).
Tenant is responsible for the water usage (but not the services charges).

And re water, I assume that sewerage is also the owners reponsibility ?

In some parts of Brisbane the owners also pay the water bill.
