we had a couple of objections to our development (2 townhouses on a block) and it looks like we had chosen the wrong way to deal with it…
Council town planners were in favour of our plans – they said the proposal is fully compliant with regulations and they would recommend to council to approve it.
we decided to amend the plans to keep the neighbours happy but none of the original objections were withdrawn. The final decision was supposed to be made on 25 May.
However, council now wants us to re-advertise again for no obvious reason. It looks to me they are just trying to buy some time out.
What would be the best way of having them decide within original timeframe?
