    Hello all,

    I am looking at doing renovating as a business. buy then renovate then sell. The improvments done by me will all be cosmetic ie: painting, tiling etc and the rest by qualified tradies.

    Does anybody know whether I need a builders license to do this work since I am running it as a business?

    Short and simple, yes, in NSW you will require a licence. Refer to the dept of fair trading website for the requirements.
