    Hi there Aisha,

First of all are you and your fiancee Australian citizens?  I ask you this because if your not, you can only buy brand new or off the plan.  The best type of property is something that will get great rental returns for you and basically will look after itself,  Southport is the CBD of the gold coast, with the hospitals, best schools, Law courts and businesses presiding here, anywhere close to Surfers, Broadbeach is popular also, BUndall has great investment townhouses.

I have been in Real Estate for 10 years in residential property on the Gold Coast.  I have a few properties that may be of interest.  What is your Budget, and are you here at present, so that I can take you and show you a few?  regards, Tracey

Before you rish off with Tracey and look at all of her wonderful properties i would think about how you intend to finance the acqusition.

This day and age the Banks and mortgage insurers are tighening up on expat or non resident lending and many of them have pulled their products to this sector of the market.

I would sort out your finances first to see what you can afford before rushing in and getting excited at the glitter and galmour of the Coast.

Hate to say mortgage insurers do not like Professional sportman due to the nature of their Contracts.

    Anyway good luck.

    Hi Aisha,

Okay, I will give you my email, which is [email protected]  if you can email me with yours, I will send you through some propery details to give you an idea of what is available to you.  It is a good time to purchase here as the market has dropped, and by June it may have dropped even further, so you can capitalise on this.  However, as you know, the market will come back, it always does and therefore if you purchase well now, you will put yourself in a good position to profit in the future.

Look forward to helping you both.

    Kind regards, Tracey
