Hi is it possible to borrow money from say ANZ over here and buy property overseas for eg Vietnam.

As there is a ANZ bank in Vietnam would it be possible to purchase the property if you are working here is Australia but borrow over there in their income but pay back the loan with Aussie dollars if you came up with the required deposit.

No Australian lender wil take overseas property as security.

If you lived in Vietnam you maybe able to get a loan with Anz Vietnam.

Nothing to stop you taking out a line of credit on your Australian security and using the funds to buy overseas.

    Fraut with problems but doable.

I agree with Richard you will not be able to use the ANZ here to finance a property in Vietnam. The ANZ bank will not even lend for a property in NZ. But the ANZ NZ will lend for NZ. If you approach the ANZ Vietnam direct it would be interesting to see the response.

Yes I believe that they would lend 70% against the Property in VN with 30% deposit and regular income if you are working or have a business there.  So it maybe possible.
