    Hi, we looked at a unit the other day (in Victoria) that the agent informed us was a Stratum Title – Not Strata. He also mentioned that banks require a larger deposit because of this. Can anyone shed some light on this please and any other differences that we should be aware of? Thanks

    Stratum allows the owner to further subdivide by lodging a strata plan. If you visit the websites of some of the larger survey companies it will give you the full explanation.
