I was at a BBQ yesterday and someone there happened to be looking for a few acres to use to store shipping containers and mobile sheds/offices, so the cogs in my head starting turning over and I woke up this morning with the following Q's..
It will be a long term storage solution so after the initial influx wouldn't have trucks coming and going every day its just to store their overflow that they need in busy times.

    1. With Rural Residential A or B (such is most of Jimboomba, QLD) can you just start storing these down the back of a 5 acre block with a house on the front of the block?  the last thing I want to do is get this organised and then some neighbor complains and I have to get the containers moved.  What zoning should I be looking for?
    2. Do I have to get council permission/permits?
    3. Preliminay talks where around $5/week per container with up to 100 containers.
    4. He said he would get the contracts etc drawn up if I wanted to progress with it but what should I include in the contract things I have thought of might be some sort of 5% increase per year on the storage rate, returning the land back to its original state when they decide to move out (topsoil, grass seeds etc), minimum monthly fee, hours of access so I dotn have trucks turning up at midnight etc.
