All Topics / Help Needed! / Buying in Sydney without being there?
Hi all
we are considering to buy an IP in Sydney, not more that 8 k from CBD.
We live in Perth. Has anyone got an idea whether that is possible without looking at the property? We are currently just getting info from the web regarding rent, vacancy rates, rental returns etc etc. Can anyone recommend a Buyer Agent?
Can anyone recommend an expert who can do the property inspection/Pest inspection? Does anyone know a good property manager with whom we can work?
Any input and ideas would be appreciated!
Cheers
Katrin

Hi,
We are launching a new "buyers agency" web site http://www.resiwealth.com where we are supplying properties to real estate agencies below market valuations on the east coast of Australia.
I would suggest to you that you only buy property within 300 meters from a train line up the pacific high way from the CBD of Sydney as this is where the growth, sales, and renters are paying big bucks.
The key is to not pay marketing fees or two tiered marketers and deal direct to the land developer and the builder … then you save …
D
Thanks guys.
Wealth4life, are you suggesting buying vacant land and off the plan property? Or are we talking about property already built?
Katrin
How do you get paid?
By the developer / builder or purchaser.
A buyers agent represents the purchaser to acheive the lowest possible price for them.
Just to clarify, who will you be representing?

I don't quite know what you mean by 'how do you get paid?'
I just want to buy something.

Sorry, I was asking Wealth4Life how they get paid from their arrangements with property developers.
i.e. does the developer pay them or do they act on behalf of the purchaser (therefore the purchaser would pay them for the service)
Just curious to know?
