    Hi,
My first go at this forum thing, i need your collective wisdom on something.
I have 2 blocks side by side in Northern Adelaide one is 779m2 the other 921m2.
There is a sewer easement down the RH Side of the left block that is 3m wide that runs to the middle title boundary between the two. The main sewer lines run behind the blocks thru mine and into the street.
SA Water plans show no inspection points on the land but the sewer feeds from behind the block and into an inspection point into the street.
We have concept plans for 5 dwellings on the site with a common drive over the easement but if we are able to adapt the current sewer system (which will have to be upgraded to adhere to 5 dwellings anyway) then we may be able to change the plans to accomodate 7 dwellings that would meet council planning guidelines.

Has anyone got any ideas, suggestions or tips on how to go about getting this done or the process for altering easements like this one or even if it is possible?

I know someone who had an easement at the back of their property and swapped this easement for the land on the side of their property so they could sub divide the back part of the property. It was a corner block thou.
I think they contacted the water company and worked out a deal.
