    Hi all

    I visited a property investing expo on the weekend and spoke with a couple of financial planners.  It seems like enlisting one to help plan my investing future could be very useful, however I don't know what to look for when I am selecting one.  Can anyone give me some advice on finding a financial planner, or recommend one?

    I know the big banks offer this service, is there any reason an independent planner would be better than one working for a bank?
