People should look past the outfit acting as agent/ investment advisor in the transaction of real property, as any advice provided/ received in this instance is generally currently unregulated and cannot be relied upon, or covered by the advisors professional indemnity policy, should the investment advise be proven to be negligent.

This however does not detract from any potential upside in purchasing through one of these forums, it just means however that one should make up their own minds in relation to the actual property being offered. Any entity promoting themselves as a property investment advisor, is generally doing so in the legal capacity of a real estate agent (acting for the vendor only) and as such, the purchaser should always undertake their own due diligence – and not be swayed by others.

A good opportunity is a good opportunity, irrespective of who is promoting the product – there are loads of good property opportunities out there, especially in today's market – happy hunting
