How do i find if a property is currently rented and who the property manager is? This query relates to Brisbane.
Long and short of it – you have to be lucky. Privacy laws prevent the agent disclosing either the name of the owner or the lessee name. RP data may give you the owners name (possibly not due to a recent court case), then some legwork to match the owner with the address & a contact number of the owner who may disclose their agent.

Unless privacy laws have changed …. you can go to the council and they will usually give you the contact number for the owners and you can ask them. I did this with a Property I was interested to buy in Adelaide ( I now live in Brisbane) and had no problems at all.
