I dont see marks name on queenslands top 100 rich list , about $ 60 m should get him on it.
I read that list from last month also Crusty.
Valid point, considering he espouses nearly half a billion dollars of works under management……one would have thought that 60 mill net would have got him a ticket.
You must however appreciate that running a Porsche Racing Team con$ume$ considerable fund$
I'm confused as to how ASIC would know about property holdings myself.. not to say they don't, but I've not ever heard of them being involved in any way shape form or retaining that kind of information. They regulate mortgage brokers, financial advisors, publicly listed companies and such, APRA regulate deposit taking institutions and now credit providers etc, so I'm curious how, why, or indeed if, ASIC would be actually retaining that kind of information. I know they allegedly investigate groups providing financial advice (see Jamie McIntyre's early days and problems with this), and they probably 'should' be regulating seminar spruikers also (although don't)..quite curious indeed to actually see 'said' reports of said 'squeaky clean' person. Proof is in the documentation as they say. My former profession always drilled into us, verify your source, if its B2 then you're good to go.
As for what I 'think I know'..therein lies the issue. I 'think' I know it because as yet, I've not seen any proof of claims made, anywhere, by anyone, at any time, so until its proven, I can only 'think' it…mind you I have recently hit the point of not giving a f*** about them or this any more. If people still want to give their money away I know a number of great charities that will benefit from your willingness to give tens of thousands of dollars away to provide food, blankets, medical supplies, not a lease on a porsche and overseas holidays.
What I know, is how many people have contacted me offline from here and somehow directly from their courses, with experiences about Conclave, the seminars etc and could I help them get their money back.. I've declined each time for the record. What I know is the responses I got when I went and spoke to the people who were 'friends' and 'associates' and so on. What I know is I don't like being abused and threatened as I was if I ever rang them again asking about said spruiker.
Thankfully, if i 'investigate my own relationship, I can peacefully and happily say, there is none, never will be, and unless or until such time as I have documentary, legally binding, verifiable evidence to prove all claims made, that will remain the case.
I stand by my original, and ongoing comments. Do the due dilligence. Ask for proof of all claims made. If they or anyone for that matter cant, or wont, prove it, ask yourself why. iF you still part with $15-30K, then what can I tell you. Suffer in your jocks.
It would be very interesting to see what Sasha has to say being the ordinary person in the street who signed up for the course. Whether it is worth it even with the questionable presenter and feedback.
I guess… people do what they want to do whatever others said. At the end of the day, you are the only person who can make the decision for yourself.
I personally don't trust Mark Rolton neither Massland because of the experience I went through with them. I also found out that the friend I made through Massland's seminars went through the similar experience to mine. They are happy to steal your deals without your knowledge and if you confront them they'll threaten and intimidate you. Mark has usedn one of my proposed deals at his seminar, but he never intended to go through actual deal with me. And I was the joint venture partner! Some of the examples he uses aren't even his own deals. Some are like mine, it never been sealed as a deal.
I was so disappointed to have found out the above as well as gone through the experience I had, because, you know what?, I really had a huge trust in them when I purchased the course and signed up as a joint venture and I did give a really good go for close to full 2 years bringing the potential deals one after another.
I am sharing this with others (and my friend is doing the same) because I think that I could be of some help to prevent this to happen to other people. Having said that, I am fully aware that I cannot force others not to do what they've already decided to do. So, if you decided to give this course a go, good luck to you, but be very, very careful.
Thanks S&N for raising the question re. Value of seminars. Something I have been considering having recently watched Mark Rolton’s DVD . I have come to the point where I think the money spent on seminars is all relative to the effort you are willing to put into the business yourself. I’ve already learn’t so much from the free DVD Massland sent out. I’m looking forward to the upcoming free event on the Gold Coast with Mark Rolton and Jon Giann from KowledgeSource.com.au.

WHAT YOU KNOW ALL STEMS FROM SECOND HAND INFORMATION OF OTHER PEOPLES PROBLEMS AND EXPERIENCES WITH MARK AND MASSLAND!…WHICH DOESN'T REALLY COUNT…IF YOU KNOW ENOUGH…THEN GO OFF YOUR OWN BACK AND NOT OTHERS!!….AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY COME TO YOU FOR HELP TO GET A REFUND!!….WHY DON'T THEY JUST GO TO A CURRENT AFFAIR OR TODAY TONIGHT..IF ITS THAT BAD!!…MAKE THE DAMN THING PUBLIC!!!
WHY DON'T THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MARK AND MASSLAND..CONTACT EACH OTHER OFF THIS FORUM…AND TAKE IT TO A CURRENT AFFAIR OR TODAY TONIGHT!!
AT LEAST THE ENDLESS SAGA ON THIS FORUM WILL BE ADDRESSED!!…AND PEOPLE WILL STOP TALKING IN CIRCLES ON THIS FORUM!!
jhk…you make a fair point. The people I've heard from include people who used to work for Massland and Mark directly. I've also heard from, as you say, people who've had problems and experiences with them.
I tend to work on the theory that (social proof not withstanding) the more people saying the same thing, independent of each other, over protracted periods of time, tend to lend some validity to what they're saying, generally speaking. Maybe that's not the right approach, I've always maintained I'm happy to be proven wrong. As yet, that hasn't occurred, but you do make a good point which I humbly concede, it would(ve) been more beneficial to go public a long time ago, as I'm sure others would/could/should have.
And to answer you, I am going off my own back these days, got a ways to go, but I'm a goin.
I just had a friend send me this forum and from what I read it sounds like there are mixed feelings about Mark Rolton and Massland flying around.
Although I’m jumping in mid-way, the negative press surrounding Rolton and his ventures seems to follow him around. And this area is no exception! I have watched the DVD and agree with the strategies involved, but given the unfriendly talk in this forum and others am not sure whether to pursue this either.
Do I trust the credibility of your remarks against the success of an established multi-million dollar company?
This forum suggests Mark and the people at Massland are offering things that are too hard with no support, not enough incentives (or no visible ones) and inflexible models, relies on uneducated students that are easily manipulated for a lot of money! This doesn’t really sound like a secure business model, which make me then ask….what’s all the fuss about?
Maybe it’s a risk like every other, as you mention, acquiring advanced techniques is sometimes worth the money.
As I read this forum I can't help but think, if all these people would spend as much positive energy on Property Options as they do wasting time on forums, they would all be wealthy!
We are fortunate at Massland that our graduates are intelligent, motivated people who genuinely want to change their financial futures and take action to make it happen.Yes, when you attend a Mark As I read this forum I can’t help but think – if these people could put this much time and energy into Rolton Property Options seminar you will have to take action, money will not fall from the sky into your lap. That is not the way the real world works.
We have a whopping 65% of people who attend our events use Mark’s strategies to make money for themselves and their families. They can take Mark’s knowledge and go it alone and keep all the profits for themselves or they can Joint Venture with Massland and get 20% of all profits on their first deal and 35% profit on all following deals.Mark pays for all consultants and Development Approval costs and wears all risk. The students have no risk and no costs. No one but Massland offers this Joint Venture arrangement, in Australia or anywhere else in the world for that matter. The more successful our students are, the more successful we are. That is why we offer so much support because we have a vested interest in their success. Our aim is produce well informed, savvy dealmakers who we enjoy long and profitable relationships with us.
Our graduates are far too busy doing deals and making money to be bothered with forums.Instead of listening to ill informed people I would suggest you listen to those who have actually done the 3 day Real Estate University event and who have actually banked cash – they are the experts on Mark Rolton and the strategies he teaches.http://www.propertyoptions.com.au/success-stories.shtml Listen to them instead.
Each year Mark Rolton teaches these cutting edge strategies to hundreds of students, they make hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result. If you want to change your financial future and if you love real estate and are committed to taking action, then come along to one of events – we would love to have you.If not, stay reading forums and be forever poor.
An interesting response that runs inline with that of jhk’s idea of those with all the problems with massland. I want to say thanks for your inspiring works, and am impressed by your contribution to a forum like this. Indeed, those contributing their time to their properties are unlikely to be spending their free moments boasting in online forums.
Small aside – I have recently watched the free DVD that you guys are promoting and am strongly considering investing in the the Rolton 12-month Coaching Program. Need to be in the game to reap the rewards. Sitting on the side lines won’t get you very far!
My advice to anyone wanting to learn options is go online to google or any other and u will find many many many informative websites and forums like this one. theres a million ways of doing options its just a matter of looking at scenario in front of you and working with it.
I am a bit too tall to be a jockey. 25% is a minimum. If there is more in the deal and YOU are an equal partner in work, time commitment etc then YOU should be looking for 50% of the profit as you are doing equal work. If you are doing no work then 23% is a great return. I honestly couldn't care less about Massland or any other group promising returns and what have you. I'll go my own way and make my own money.
Phatcat, from one post telling me I am negative I would offer you nothing. Personally I don't make snap judgments about anything or anyone. And you really must have only read about 3 of my posts.
In this thread we are starting to lose sight of some of the values that makes our forum community work so well. We need to ensure that all contributions add value and, more importantly, remain respectful of others.
Strong opinions are good and welcome but there are limits as to how we should express them in this forum. We should be aiming for 'relevant conversations' that avoid hurtful comments toward others. Let us all have our say but not to the detriment of others.

AGREE!!!….50/50 IS WHAT YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR IN JV!!….50/50 HURT MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT = 50/50 PROFIT!!
I'm not interested in what sort of relationship Mark, has with his Lawyer, or anyone else. I only go by how i find people, so far not as hard to get along with as you appear to be? I only enlightened people in this forum who have asked questions about RP Data, or appear confused about Massland. It appears that what ever other comments have been made about Rolton and Co, by others, or questions, i don't see your comments being as harsh in response to them, as yours are to me?! But then, i think saying anything remotely in favour of this company, is only waving a red flag to a bull!

What you said above was clearly incorrect and misleading. You weren't really trying to enlighten people were you?
Hear Mark speak for a whole day for FREE. His is conducting a tour of Australia at the moment. Contact the promotor, get a free ticket and go along. A whole day of free content – surely not even this forum can argue with that!
He has been is Melbourne, Sydney and still to speak in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth. Follow the link to find venues and times and register for your free ticket.
He is also speaking on September 10 and 11 in Sydney at the Ultimate Success Summit with Richard Branson and Tony Robbins.

APOLOGIES TO ANYONE I MAY HAVE OFFENDED!!…AS PER MODERATOR COMMENT!!
PEOPLE NEED TO BE AWARE THAT MASSLAND MAKE ALOT THROUGH SHORT OPTION DEALS OF POSITIONING THEMSELVES IN THE MARKET!…AND ONSELLING THE OPTION (WITH NO DA) TO THE BUILDER-DEVELOPER, WHO WOULD THEN OBTAIN THE DA OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS…SO THE FIGURES YOU SEE IN THE ABOVE LINK…MOST WOULD BE GROSS REVENUE THAT THE BUILDER-DEVELOPER WOULD OF MADE…AND NOT MASSLAND!! THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER STRATEGIES YOU CAN ADOPT WITH OPTIONS..ITS ALL ABOUT BEING CREATIVE!!
MASSLAND OPERATE THE SAME WAY MOST PROJECT MARKETING FIRM DO…THEY ARE NOT DEVELOPERS…JUST PROJECT MARKETERS!!!….THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!!
Hi Terry, Yeh, I know…sorry. It must annoying to read!
I hope people don't think I'm making bold statements either with the caps..its just lazy typing..in avoiding the shift key with the pinky finger. In the middle of publication writing with other commitments..and so writing in caps on here is a nice break from it all!
