    We are new to property investing. We encounter a property offer for 2Bed rm, 2bath rm unit, buy off plan at Cairns at around 299K. Is this a reasonable price in that area? Is it possible to make it CF positive with such price?

    Since you are new to property or Aussie property, you would do well just by doing web searches of locations in Australia for value……….this is not looking like an astute buy, more the opposite….look for something very, very different hopefully with some valuable land attached to the 300k
