    Hi can i get some thoughts from investors regarding a issue i have.

    I want to purchase a new PPOR and turn my old PPOR into a IP.  Should i sell the old PPOR to a Trust and pay the stamp duty etc or should i just rent it out and then borrow against it to buy another PPOR.

    any advice please.

    It would depend on what sort of equity you have in it. If not much, then there may be no point, but if you have heaps of equity the interest savings could be huge.
