    We have two house in rich vic, one big one small. We currently live in the small one and are planning on spending 200k renovating the big one with the view to move into it. Are we best to sell the small one ( 600k) and pay off the big one entirely  or keep both??

    Might depend on where you are in life.

    If you were at the retirement stage, then owning your place outright does sound very attractive.
