Went to a double auction on Saturday in Hawthorn Brisbane. Good street with city views two houses side by side each 800sqm, 2 crappy houses and demolition controlled. Sold for $1.44m and $1.61m to same buyer apparently he can get round the demolition control. My mate bought on the same street 18 months ago top of hill brand new house 360 views for $1.07m he had a big smile on his face after the auction.
Tried to get this one for $450k I know that you could buy it for $470k not bad in my book very nice setting the water is right there, I cant stretch that far right now Reisdex have this area down for 15% for the next 8 years, have to be of interest to some other forumites with a lazy 100k, the block of land next door is on the market for $395k for 666sqm.
