All Topics / General Property / Where do you find good info on suburbs
Hi, I am new to property investing and need some help. My husband and i have bought two houses, one in Townsville and one in Brisbane. We didn't do too much research before we bought. And I would like to know, which websites give good info on suburbs, like median house prices, % of rental dwellings etc.
http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/BCC:BASE::pc=PC_1803
other council sites and google searches for starters
You can try free suburb profile from http://www.domain.com.au or http://www.homepriceguide.com.au
You can also buy reports from http://www.rpdata.com.au or http://www.residex.com.au
The last few pages of Australian Property Investor magazine has information on median prices, etc.
Hope this helps
