A few weeks back, I put a general "help needed" out to the forum, looking for a really good property lawyer to help me out of a mess… Thank you again to all those who responded. For anyone interested, we ended up using Hutch's referral, Daniel Oldham one of the partners from Slidders Lawyers. Both Daniel Oldham and Charles Slidders worked on our case. They were fantastic!! They were knowledgeable, had great customer service, and if you will excuse the pun had "gigantic brass balls". We got a brilliant outcome.
We had broken one of the golden rules…. never trust the Real Estate agent, as Steve says "they are the vendors representative, not yours", and as a result of breaking that rule, I had got myself into a mess. Daniel got us out, without it costing us an arm and a leg. Although, I've got to tell you I was happy to take it all the way, just on principal.
But that aside, if there is anyone else out there looking for a fantastic property lawyer, I can't recommend them highly enough.
Without wanting to sound corny, they struck blow in favour of the little guy.
