    Hi guys,
I've been searching in vain for stats which reflect the rental market in a particular suburb in order to understand the potential for a property to lease in these suburbs as opposed to sitting idly due to an oversupply. I realise that this sort of info must be staring me in the face but my searches have proven in vain. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try the latest property mag out. I think it is called Property Investor and the 2nd one has only just come out. It gives all rental info, well the last one did anyway, suburb by suburb for all of Aust.
    Cheers

    Hi Redhat,
You can call up a few local agents and get a feel of vacancy rates in the area.

yeah, inspect other peoples, and see how long they sit at that price ask the agent how many applications he has had.
