My partner and I are intending on undertaking a dual occupancy development in the Bankstown area in Sydney in early 2008. We have been able to sort out most issues, such as finance, property purchase, DA approval (we are both town planners) etc, but the most difficult aspect is finding a good builder in Sydney who has reasonable prices and is trustworthy. We have investigated the big builder's like Masterton but do not like their designs and already have a design that we have developed with our architect, and feel we can produce a better product for the market than the project hoke companies have to offer. Also, the project home companies do not complete the development from start to finish, whereas we wabnt a fixed price contract for the entire development.
If anybody has some recommendations for good quality, efficient and affordable builders in Sydney who can undertake a dual occupnacy construction, could you please provide the details?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
