    Hi guys,

    I am in a position where my brother in law and I are looking at buying a resi investment home for say maximum $300K and we are looking at investing on the north side of Melbourne. We have looked at some properties in Reservoir but havent really found anything suiting our need. I have heard that Glenroy isn't a bad area to look at for long term capital growth and a decent income.

    Can anyone suggest of possible areas in Melbourne north to invest in and if yes do they know of any decent real estate agents to contact?

    You should grab yourself a copy of this months Property Investor Magazine. The cover story is "What you can buy for under $300K – affordable properties within 20km of capital cities"…….your request fits with this article.
