    Hi guys.

i've just recently purchased a property and have just (as of today) been unconditionally approved for my home loan. The settlement date has been set as the 4th of July on the contract, but both myself and the vendor are keen to move that date forward as early as possible. My question is, what is the best way to urge the lending bank to move the settlement date forward, like as a matter of urgency (I'll be moving twice if I can't move settlement earlier)? I have a solicitor which I'm using. Should I be using my solicitor deal with the lender to move the settlement to an earlier date or should I be chasing up the lending bank on my own?

Your Mortgage Broker should be doing the job for you.
