Hi all. What are your thoughts on storage sheds. In the near future i would like to invest in somthing a little different as i feel its getting a bit hard to find residential properties giving good returns outside of mining towns. ( I have one neg geared property which i can handle easily but dont want several neg geared as servicing will be difficult). I am thinking around a 2000 sq block and build a few sheds and add to them as cash becomes available.Below are some questions i have
1# Has anyone done it and have they made money.
2# Are they expensive to build say basic ones .
3# Can you get realestate agents to manage them.
To me you look at what a $450,000 house land package would give you in rent ($350 maybe) Compared to the same investment in storage sheds they must give a better return. What are your thoughts.Storage is becoming more lucrative than it was a couple of years ago.
Has anyone gone down this road with good results. Its a bit of a unknown for me. Might be better to stick to my plan up north.
